BEWARE!- BAIT & SWITCH at Carol Wright!

BEWARE ! Bait and switch !!! I was making an order online from Carol Wright when I saw a top set that caught my eye. I wear a 3x and the price was $9.99 on the screen when I brought it up. Great! I already had 5 items in my cart and was getting ready to add 3 more at this price! Put in the color, then put in 3x for the size and up pops a $24.99 price!!! The $9,99 price I saw on the item description was listed as the plus size price!! Had I been ordering without paying attention to the details, I may have paid 2 1/2 times the listed price for the top set ! SO, I called the 800 number. Talked to a man the first time. When all he did was run me around in circles, I asked to talk to a supervisor. I was "on hold" 10 min. and no one came back on the line. I CALLED AGAIN ! Talked to a woman who ran me around in the SAME circles and she told me "there wasn't a supervisor working at this time". BULL PUCKY !! I know better !!! Needless to say I cancelled the entire order and thank heaven I found out about this before ordering ANYTHING from this company!! I won't deal with companies like this. Carol Wright is an underhanded company that uses bait and switch tactics and doesn't provide customer service of a supervisor when asked for. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!!

This company customer service reps are…

This company customer service reps are the worst I've encountered. Not only did they leave off part of my order they didn't know how it was gonna be shipped. They were rude & putting my call on mute to keep from helping me by pretending to have a bad connection. I spent hrs trying to find where my order was by calling around to different delivery services.
I will never use them again & let them know this.

BEWARE OF THEIR LAST CATALOG...IN THE CENTER IS PAGES OF SO CALLED 'SEX TOYS'..NOTHING ON COVER WARNS ABOUT THIS SMUT, BEST CUT UP BEFORE THROWING IN THE GARBAGE WHERE IT BELONGS 1star just to get to comments, I'd give them lots of bad stars.

I will never do business with them…

I will never do business with them again put me into a club that I didn't sign up for. They said they shipped out a nightgown but in fact it never came to my house. I had to track them down for two and a half months they kept on taking out money of my banking account when I never received anything finally I got one robe that I ordered I called to find out if the other one was coming and they said it's on his way. I called FedEx and they said that it was supposed to be by my house January so Lost package. I will never ever deal with them again there customer service people are the worst. In fact I'm just thinking of starting a class action suit against them for the fraudulent business that they practice.

I ordered multiple items early October …

I ordered multiple items early October 2020. I received items, no problems but then noticed 2 charges for $14.95 on my checking account ~ 10/26 & 11/27. Found out that apparently I subscribed to their perks program for free shipping which is monthly charge of $14.95. I think I would remember if I signed up for this but have found out companies like to sneak these charges in. Very upset, disappointed in this co & don’t plan to ordering from them again.

FIVE month wait!

FIVE months I waited for a $14.99 pair of pants! Every time I contacted customer, they told me new dates of arrival, none of which occurred. No apology, no coupon compensation and one CS hung up on me. Tracking number “froze” in Oleatha, Ks For 10 days. Finally the pants arrived. Never again. CW is associated with Dr Leonard- won’t order from either ever. Five month wait!!!!

DO NOT BUY OFF THESE SCAMMERS! They offer items that are NOT really available. When you call to cancel what they call 'backordered' they will harass you and try saying they never charged you when in fact they did! They also automatically sign you up for Perks account and steal $15 without telling you. They have a separate number for this scam. They also sneak emails about it under spam mail. Mean scammers! No products available!! Theft!!! Steer Clear!!!!

Stiffed for Christmas

I paid $68 extra for 3 day shipping to GET my gifts by Christmas. Its now 2 days after new years and still no gifts. My wife divorced me and my Daughter is totally let down. Thank You Carol Wright gifts for ruining my families Christmas

Crappy reimbursement

I bought a pair of slippers as a gift. They were too small so I returned them, using the label they provided. Original cost was just shy of $30 and the return to my card was $11 . Really? It would appear fruitless to buy from this company. Their catalogues will go straight to the trash.

Worst service ever

Worst service ever. First; they claim "FREE SHIPPING" but still has a HIDDEN "COVID SURCHARGE" (seems to me it could be illegal in most states)
Second; Do not keep you posted with delivery times. I placed an order on Early October, after several weeks went by, I checked to see status, and claimed it would be shipped on Dec/15, well I want it to decorate BEFORE CHRISTMASTIME not after, was I notified? NO, NEVER AT ALL. Then customer service over the phone was extremely RUDE when I asked, why wasn't I advised about time.

Worst company ever

Worst company ever. The product was subpar, clothes didn't wash well. Tried getting info to return the entire order for weeks, Final boxed up the order myself with a copy of the packing slip and I went to the post office and paid myself to ship it back. Only receive half of the credit because there was a return shipping fee for each of the 6 items. I spent an hour this evening gon the phone with 4 different people and NOONE could answer me or fix the problem and then after being transferred 4 times they said sorry we are closing so I can't help you in my department and I can't transfer you to anyone so you will need to call back tomorrow!!!!
The worst!!! NEVER bye from them!!!!!

I purchased a $15 pair of shoes from Carol Wright and when I checked my credit card 2 months later I noticed they had signed my up for a perks subscription at $14.95 per month and was charged twice already. I called customer service and they said could not direct me to someone that could refund my money and did not have a number for refunds but my account was canceled. I called again a few days later and was finally given the number of the perks department. She said they would refund my money, but that remains to be seen. I did receive an email saying the account was canceled which is what the lady told me last time I called.
